The North Carolina Railroad Company welcomed Joe Stallings as its new Director of Economic Development effective July 11, 2022. Stallings previously served as the Economic Development Director for the Town of Garner and offers more than 11 years of experience in Economic Development.

He is a thoughtful team player, and he will help us win in North Carolina”
Prior to working in Garner, Stallings worked in rural North Carolina in economic development for the Town of Benson. He is a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. in political science with a concentration in town, city and county management and a minor in regional planning.
